GYNAECOLOGY: Ovarian cancer

The pathways in gynecological cancers include one separate package for each of the three main tumor types (uterine - to be published - cervical
and ovarian) and one package of more general knowledge (to be published), dealing with biological
and molecular characteristics of gynecological cancers, management of less
frequent gynecological tumor types and of symptoms common in gynecological
cancers.
In each package, the multidisciplinary approach
of gynecological cancers is followed, covering in separate sessions the
surgical, medical and radiotherapeutic treatment, together with specific sessions on topics of high relevance for that particular entity.
In the ovarian cancer package the medical treatment is discussed in separate sessions according to the different subsequent stages of the clinical course. One additional session on PARP inhibitors and one on molecular pathways of relevance for translational studies and clinical development are included.
